Logs and Inverses

-One thing i managed to learn through Logs and Inverses is the one-to-one idea. I think there are two ways to check if a function is a one-to-one and that is the horizontal and vertical test.

-Another thing i learn was the inverses of a fuction. f-1(x). Or turning f(x)=3x+4,into y=3x+4

-third thing i learn was the logarithic rules. Some like log3(xy)=log3^x+log3^y and so on.

-lastly one thing that i did not understand was the base of 10. How do you know that ten belongs under the log.

  1. It not that 10 belongs under the log any number can be under the log just when it is log alone without any other number below it it means that the number under it is 10. It sort of like when your going to take the squre root of a number they don't need to but the 2 you know you are taking the square root but when your going to take the cube root or the forth root they write the number Do you get it now??
